BREAKING: Bashir Responds After David Roberts Said There’s Nothing Messy About Nigeria Economy With 3.46% Growth

David Roberts’ statement that Nigeria’s economy is not in disarray prompted a response from a member of the All Progressive Congress, or APC, and former presidential advisor to Nigeria, Bashir Ahmad.

David Roberts stated in a post on Bayo Onanuga’s official X that there is nothing chaotic about Nigeria’s 3.46% growth economy.

David Roberts said;

“Nigeria’s economy is not a mess. There is nothing messy about 3.46 per cent growth. If attaining such growth was easy, then we would have that level of GDP development in Europe. But we don’t.”

However, Bashir Ahmad has now reacted to the statement that was made by Roberts. In a post that he shared on his official X handle, he stated that the former British Council Director is of the opinion that Nigeria’s economy that posted a GDP growth of 3.46% is not in a mess.

Bashir Ahmad wrote on his page;

“David Roberts, a former British Council Director in Abuja, said Nigeria’s economy that posted a GDP growth of 3.46% in Quarter 4, cannot be said to be in a mess”.
