Former vice president and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar fervently outlined the serious issues plaguing Nigeria in a recent speech. He brought attention to a tragic occurrence in which a female banker committed suicide within a banking hall, and he blamed the nation’s ongoing economic woes for the desperate deed.
According to a report by the Sun, Atiku expressed his concerns about the dire state of affairs during an interaction with the Nigeria Economic Summit Group (NESCG). In this encounter, he shed light on the apparent reluctance of President Tinubu to disclose his strategy for lifting 128 million Nigerians out of poverty, a crisis that Atiku attributes to the policies of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
