Popular Nigerian actress Bimbo Ademoye has reacted to a claim by her colleague, Toyin Abraham that she recently acquired a new car and a house.
Naija News reports that Abraham during the premiere of ‘Alakada! Bahd and Boujee’ on Sunday announced Ademoye’s latest achievements.
Addressing the audience, Abraham said “Bimbo just bought a house and a car. Latest Benz.”
In the viral video, the announcement drew a swift reaction from actress Ini Edo, who immediately tapped Abraham on the shoulder and said “who send you?”
However, responding to the claim on her Instagram page on Tuesday, Ademoye denied it, insisting that Abraham was lying.
Speaking in pidgin English, she joked about not being at such a financial level and blamed Toyin’s movie character ‘Yetunde Animashun’ as being the culprit.
“Yetunde Animashaun paro ku. She even dropped one lie last night at the premiere of #AlakadaBadandBoujee. House and car whereeeeeee, wey I never chop belleful,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, Ini Edo, has dismissed speculations about her upcoming wedding.
Naija News recalls that reports went viral in September 2024 after Ini Edo shared a photo of herself in a traditional Efik bridal gown with a love caption on her Instagram page.
However, during her latest interview with Premium Times, the movie star clarified that the social media post aimed to promote her upcoming four-part series, ‘My Fairytale Wedding,’ and not an engagement announcement.
When asked if she anticipated having a real-life fairytale wedding someday, Ini Edo noted that marriage was no longer a priority for her but having a solid relationship.
She said, “I’m not crazy about marriage; I am crazy about having a solid relationship. I’m not hoping, and it’s not any of my prayer points.”
Recall that the thespian was previously married to a Nigerian-American businessman, Philip Ehiagwina. The couple got married in 2008 but divorced in 2014.
