BREAKING: Center Against Injustice And Domestic Violence Commends Sanwo-Olu For Turning CMC Into Full Fledged Agency

The Centre Against Injustice and Domestic Violence (CAIDOV) has commended the state Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for turning the Citizens Mediation Center (CMC) into a full fledged agency, describing the act as a pragmatic approach to fighting for the rights of Lagosians.

CAIDOV,  in a press release issued on Monday, signed by its Executive Director, Comrade Gbenga Soloki, commended the Governor and the people of Lagos State for always defending the rights of the people of the state with wonderful and pro-people interventions.

The CAIDOV boss appealed to indigent  Lagosians to make use of the opportunity presented by this new agency by reporting cases of human rights violations, a move he said will cost them nothing as the government has taken care of the expenses.

In his words “let me on behalf of the Board and Management of the Centre Against Injustice and Domestic Violence (CAIDOV) thank Governor Sanwo-Olu for uplifting the Citizens Mediation Center (CMC) to a full fledged agency, with more power to intervene in mediating and finding solutions to  squabbles among the people and agencies of government.

“This move will ultimately improve upon the running of the agency and ensure that several civil matters that ought to be resolved are not unnecessarily taken to court,” he said.
