
The Federal Executive Council Meeting under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday, March 4, approved the awarding of contracts for the construction of four road projects across Nigeria.
Sunday Dare, the special adviser to the president on media and public communication revealed that the road project has been approved for the commencement of construction.
A former minister of sports and youth development, Dare made the disclosure in a post shared on his X account.
He also listed the cost implications of these approved road projects.

1 Contract awarded to Decon Construction Nigeria Limited for the dualization of Odupani-Itu-Idedem Item and Ikot Ekepene road in Cross River and Akwa Ibom States at the total cost of N55 billion.
2 The completion of the outstanding 82km dual section of Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano roads by InfoWest Company, that’s 82km by 2, that is 164KM at N507 billion.
3 The construction of a flyover at Abakpa bordering 82 division Enugu was awarded to CCECC at N24 billion.
4 Contract of dualization of 147km Ibadan-Ilorin Road Section Two, using reinforced concrete pavement.
