A High Court sitting in Ibadan, Oyo State, has granted bail to three, including Ooni’s ex-queen Naomi Silekunola, in connection with a tragic food queue stampede that claimed the lives of 35 minors last December.
Presiding Judge, Justice Kamorudeen Olawoyin, approved bail for the former queen, Ibadan-based broadcaster Oriyomi Hamzat, and a school principal Abdullahi Fasasi.
The trio is facing four grave charges: conspiracy, acceleration of death, negligent acts causing harm, and failing to ensure adequate security and medical facilities during the event.
