Speaking about the ongoing depreciation of the Naira versus the US dollar, Delta State Police Command Spokesperson, DSP, Bright Edafe, stated that some Nigerians are the root of their own problems.
The Delta State Police Spokesperson made it known during her speech that a number of Nigerians save money in dollars in the hopes that the value of the dollar will always climb, making it abundantly evident that Nigerians are the root of the problem.
DSP Edafe made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle on Tuesday morning, while reacting to the continuous depreciation of Naira against the United States dollar.
DSP Bright Edafe wrote: “The truth is that we are our problem. People have a dollar account and save money in dollars, with the hope that dollars will continue to rise and never fall. I repeat, we are our problem.”
