BREAKING: Edo APC primary; I thought Oshiomhole was a changed person after he became a Senator- Andrew Enwanta

Following the conclusion of the governorship primaries of the APC, a former Edo State Commissioner for Communication and Orientation, Andrew Enwanta has accused former Edo State Governor and incumbent Senator representing Edo North, Adams Oshiomhole of imposition.

In an interview on News Central TV, Enwanta said he thought Oshiomhole was a changed person because he told him before joining APC that the reason why he left PDP was because he imposed Obaseki in 2016. He said it was unfortunate for him to see Oshiomhole in a viral video imposing a candidate on the eve of the APC primaries.

He said, “I remember when I left my former party, the PDP, this was the same reason I did. And when I joined the party, I had the privilege of meeting Comrade Adams Oshiomhole. We exchanged notes. I told him the reasons why, of course some of us had issues with him. Because in 2016, he imposed Obaseki and we felt like that style of imposition should not continue. And that is why I thought he was a changed person after he became a Senator. I felt as quote and unquote a distinguished Senator, he will be able to provide leadership.

But unfortunately on the eve of the primaries, a video went viral where he was actually imposing a candidate, saying that this particular person is the person that the people of the party should vote for. I mean that is not the place of a leader, he should play the role of a father.
