The Edo State House of Assembly has ordered the suspension of all Chairmen and Vice Chairmen across the state’s 18 Local Government Councils.
This decision was made during a plenary session on Tuesday due to their alleged refusal to present annual reports on their activities to the state government.
For the next two months, the legislative heads of each council have been instructed to manage the affairs of their respective Local Government Areas.
