BREAKING: EFCC summons Chief Okoya’s sons over abuse of naira

Following the viral video showing two sons of Nigerian billionaire, Razaq Okoya, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has summoned them for questioning.

In a video they shared on social media, Subomi and Wahab were captured abusing the Nigerian naira under the supervision of a police officer attached to the Okoyas

While the police have arrested and detained the police officer, the EFCC on Saturday, January 11, sent a notice to the two brothers.

In the commission notice signed by the acting director of the Lagos directorate, Michael Wetkas invited the Okoyas to appear before it.

The notice by the anti-graft agency instructed Subomi and his brother to appear before the head of the Special Operations Team.

They are expected to meet with the EFCC at its office located at 15A Awolowo Road, Lagos, by 10 am on Monday, January 13, 2025.
