Recall that on Monday, Governor Mbah commissioned the ENGIS which he said, “is not merely a victory for the government; it is a triumph for the people of Enugu,” adding that “Today marks the end of the era of land grabbing, unauthorised constructions, double allocations, and revenue diversion.
“Today, we are launching a system that will help us meet our economic growth objectives. With ENGIS, you can complete a title application within 48 hours, all from the comfort of your home, allowing you to apply for titles and conduct searches with near-instant results.”
Reacting to this, Architect Onyekachi stated that; “ENGIS is a state-of-the-art land management system that provides significant advantages for the real estate sector, particularly in simplifying the process of obtaining land titles. It enables land applications to be processed online within 48 hours, effectively eliminating the delays that often hinder property transactions. This innovation not only lowers operational costs for developers and investors but also facilitates a seamless property acquisition experience, crucial for boosting investor confidence.
“For property developers, this system is a transformative solution to long-standing issues such as double allocations and unauthorised encroachments.
