Enugu SME Center has announced the successful completion of its one day skill acquisition training for youths and tech enthusiasts in the state.
The training dubbed Enugu SME Skill-Acquisition One-Day Masterclass (ESESAM) with the theme transformative session, themed “Unlocking the Secrets of Animation,” brought together top industry experts to equip Enugu’s creative talents with the skills needed to thrive in the animation industry.
During the class, Mr. Ferdinand Adimefe, CEO of Magic Carpet Studios, emphasized that : “Africa has great stories but lacks the capacity to tell them. Animation can help fill that gap.”
Mr. Adimefe stressed that there’s a growing need for animation and the it can serve as a catalyst for the growth of the digital and creative economy.
In his remark, Arinze Chilo-Offiah, the Special Adviser on MSMEs & Digital Economy and DG, Enugu SME Center stated that “this initiative aligns with His Excellency, Governor Peter Mbah’s vision for Enugu as a hub for innovation and digital creativity.
“Under his leadership, the state is actively empowering creatives, fostering digital skills development, and positioning Enugu as a competitive player in the global creative economy.
“This training provides Ndi Enugu youths with the opportunity to discover their skillset and offer services both locally and globally.”
