BREAKING: Ex-Anambra Commissioner, Enemali, Dumps APGA For APC

A former commissioner for lands and youth in Anambra State, Hon. Bonaventure Enemali, has defected from the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) to join the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He announced his decision during a political gathering in Nzam, his ward, where he pledged full allegiance and support to the APC’s governorship candidate, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, describing him as “a visionary leader capable of transforming Anambra for the better.”

Enemali noted that his decision was based on a commitment to effective leadership, accountability, and inclusive governance. He expressed confidence that Prince Ukachukwu’s candidacy under the APC banner would deliver lasting development to the state.

“This is not just a political move. It is a decision rooted in deep conviction and the desire to see our state truly prosper. I also express my unreserved support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027,” Enemali said.

The defection is considered a strategic boost for the APC in Anambra, especially as preparations for the November 2025 governorship election intensify. Enemali’s experience in governance and strong grassroots network are expected to strengthen the party’s campaign structure across the state.

Leaders of the APC in Anambra welcomed Enemali into the party, expressing optimism that more key stakeholders would join the movement for a new direction in Anambra politics.
