BREAKING: Ex-Super Eagles Star, Brown Ideye Officially Joins Enyimba

Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) giants Enyimba have officially unveiled former Super Eagles forward Brown Ideye as their new player.

The announcement of Brown Ideye’s signing was made on Enyimba’s official website on Monday, December 30.

Ideye, who has been training with Enyimba for several weeks, brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to the team as they aim for success in the remaining fixtures of the NPFL season.

The club expressed their enthusiasm regarding his addition, stating, “We are delighted to officially announce the addition of former Super Eagles striker, Brown Ideye to our fold.”

They highlighted their expectations for him to contribute significantly to the team’s performance, particularly under the guidance of their new head coach, Stanley Eguma.

Brown Ideye who is currently 36-year-old is making a noteworthy return to the NPFL after a long career abroad, with his last experience in Nigeria dating back to the 2006/2007 season when he played for the now-defunct Ocean Boys. Most recently, he was with the Kuwaiti club Al-Yarmouk.

Note that Brown Ideye has won the Ukrainian Cup and Ukrainian Super Cup with Dynamo Kyiv; he also won Super League Greece with Olympiacos.
