BREAKING: Fubara reveals who is in control of Rivers State

Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has revealed that God is in control of the state’s affairs.

Fubara and his predecessor, former Governor Nyesom Wike, have been at loggerheads over the political leadership of the state.

The cold war between the duo had continued despite President Bola Tinubu and other relevant stakeholders’ intervention.

Speaking at a Christmas event hosted by former Governor Peter Odili in Port Harcourt, Fubara attributed the victories over political crises to Divine intervention.

He described the challenges as opportunities to grow in leadership and governance.

“And not just because I want to accept it, I get stronger in this course every day when I look at the support I am getting from the true Rivers people.

“So, it is not me being strong. My strength is drawn from every one of you that is here. You gave me encouragement; you do the work for me; you make the calls for me. So, why won’t I stand up for you.

“But we also believe strongly that the ultimate game changer, the ultimate liberator, and the ultimate fighter remains God Almighty. And because we have Him on our side, victory is assured.”

Fubara acknowledged the unwavering support of Rivers residents, which strengthened his determination to lead effectively.

He assured citizens of a brighter future, emphasizing his administration’s focus on progress and unity.

The governor highlighted the importance of collaboration among leaders and vowed to uphold the integrity of the state while fostering continuity in governance.

The event saw participation from notable figures who praised Fubara’s resilience and commitment to the people.

As the state prepares for 2025, Fubara reassured Rivers residents of his dedication to delivering a prosperous and harmonious environment.
