BREAKING: Ghanian Pastor Apologises Over Statement Against Nigerian Church Goers

A Ghanaian pastor has apologised after receiving admonition from the body of Christ over his statements about Nigerians.

Bishop Sam Owusu went viral on social media for the wrong reasons after a video was shared of him warning his church members against supporting Nigerian pastors.

The cleric lamented over the numerable turn up of about 60,000 people at pastor Jerry Eze’s Nsppd conference which was recently held in Ghana.

He simultaneously bemoaned the support received by Nigerian ministers from Ghanians, recall that Nigerian music minister Moses Bliss recently got married in a lavish celebration to a Ghanaian pastor’s daughter.

He said, “Nigerians are very self-centered people, a Ghanaian pastor cannot breakthrough in Nigeria… You can only preach in their churches but if you open your own, they’ll give you three months and they’ll leave you”

Serious backlash followed his statement, which led him to publish an apology video where he said,

“It was never my intention to create division. I have received a lot of Nigerians in my church here in Ghana and I have been a blessing to them as well. I condemn such acts and I apologize”.
