BREAKING: Gov Aiyedatiwa lifts curfew in Owo community

The curfew imposed on Owo community in Owo local government area of Ondo State has been lifted, effective immediately.

This development follows an improvement in the security situation of the community and the peaceful conduct of residents.

This was contained in a statement on Friday signed by Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State.

According to the statement, Governor Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa approved the lifting of the curfew, allowing residents to resume their daily activities without hindrance.

The governor expressed gratitude to security agencies, traditional rulers, religious leaders, and other stakeholders who contributed to restoring peace and order in the community.

As stated in the press release, “With this development, residents of Owo can resume their daily civic activities and movement without any hindrance.”
