The 11-year-old girl informed the physicians that she was unaware that she was pregnant because she was unaware of how being pregnant felt, according to court records.
The victim also claimed to have had s*x with a 14-year-old boy at a county fair when, in reality, nothing could be further from the truth. She ultimately confessed and stated the truth when the physicians realized that the dates of the supposed assault and her pregnancy didn’t line up.
According to reports, the 11-year-old girl acknowledged that her grandfather had instructed her to fabricate having s*x with a 14-year-old at the county fair so he could get away with râping her.
Pruet, a then-55-year-old grandfather, received a 200-year prison term for assaulting the girl’s younger sister and impregnating his 11-year-old granddaughter.
The 11-year-old’s discovery that she was 32 weeks pregnant led to his imprisonment. What’s worse, the 9-year-old sister of the 11-year-old was forced to watch the horrible torture before having to deal with her grandfather’s sêxual approaches. Pruet was responsible for watching over the two girls, so he had complete access to them whenever his vile s*x sêxual desires surfaced.
The 9-year-old eventually admitted to her biological mother that she had seen her grandfather physically attack her sister. In an interview, she went into further detail about this, claiming that she would occasionally wake up and peek through a hole in her bunk bed to see Pruet molesting her elder sister, who was presumably in the same room.
The 9-year-old girl was abused by her grandfather, a man she loved and trusted, in addition to witnessing Pruet steal her sister’s innocence. The 9-year-old said that Pruet had sêxually molested her by kissing her intimate areas.
