Former Ikwerre Local Government Chairman Samuel Nwanosike has drawn biblical parallels in his enthusiastic endorsement of Nigeria’s current leadership, comparing it to the story of Moses leading his people.
In a video posted on Symfoni TV, Nwanosike expressed his views on what he sees as a transformative period in Nigerian leadership. “We’ve been praying for leaders. We’ve been praying for leaders even before I was born. My parents told me that they were praying for leaders. Finally, we have got a leader,” he declared.
Drawing on biblical references, Nwanosike stated, “We are now like those people whom Moses was leading in the Bible. They were asking God for a leader, and God gave them Moses. Initially, Moses was not accepted, but until Moses started the journey out of Egypt, they realized he was the one.”
The former local government chairman highlighted what he perceives as positive changes in Nigeria’s investment climate. “As of today, he (Tinubu) has started this journey of rebuilding Nigeria. Investors are coming in, people are regaining hope. If you invest in Nigeria now, there’s confidence your money will return,” he said.
Concluding his remarks, Nwanosike expressed gratitude to the administration and specifically acknowledged the FCT Minister’s role, stating, “We thank him for being our leader and acknowledge the Minister of FCT for the support he has given. He is our leader; we are his men; we are his soldiers at the grassroots level.”
