BREAKING: He is Very Deedly & Selfish Man with many Criminal Records – Bashir Ahmad Reacts After He Was Criticised For Mentioning Name Of NNPC Worker Who Allegedly Took $2.1M Bribe

One of the members of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Bashir Ahmad has reacted after he was criticized for mentioning the name of the NNPC official who was charged by the FBI for taking the sum of $2.1 million as bribe.

Bashir Ahmad mentioned the name of the NNPC worker after he came across a report that says, “FBI charges top NNPC official for taking $2.1 million bribes to help Addax Petroleum escape $2.4 billion liability to Nigeria”.

Reacting to the report, he wrote on his page;

“This headline is not correct. The person involved is Paulinus Iheanacho Okoronkwo, and NNPC dismissed him due to his involvement in the scandal. Before his termination, he was a general manager in the upstream department”.

However, after he made the statement, there were mixed reactions from many of his followers online. He has now reacted after he was criticized. In a post that he shared on his official X handle on Wednesday, he said he had no idea that his post would offend a certain group of people.

He wrote;

“I had no idea that the tweet below would offend a certain group of people. The only reason I mentioned Mr. Okoronkwo’s name was to make the record straight and to clarify that he is no longer associated with NNPC, and the fraud took place in 2015, a few days before President Buhari took over”.

Below is the first post he made:.
