BREAKING: I ‘Flogged’ Oyetola In 2022 After They Stole 2018 Election – Gov Adeleke

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has alleged that the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its gubernatorial candidate, Gboyega Oyetola, stole the 2018 governorship election in the state from him.

Naija News reports that Adeleke made this known in an interview with Wazobia TV on Monday.

Governor Adeleke claimed he did not lose the election to his predecessor, Oyetola, but the people’s mandate was stolen.

He said, “I didn’t lose to Oyetola; they stole the mandate of the people of Osun State.”

Speaking about his victory in the 2022 election, Adeleke said he floored Oyetola, explaining that God hid 200,000 votes after his opponents attempted to rig the election.

He said, “I no just win am, I flog am (I won it, and I didn’t just win it; I defeated him comprehensively).”

The Governor also attributed his success to divine intervention, stating, “God put disunity in my opponent’s camp, and that made them fight themselves before I returned from America.”

On the issue of borrowing, he clarified, “I have never borrowed funds; instead, I set aside my security vote for infrastructure and development in Osun State.”

Adeleke also promised the people of Osun State good roads, adding, “When you’re doing agriculture and people have farms, but if they don’t have good roads, how are they going to access the city to sell their produce?”
