Nollywood actress, Funmi Awelewa has called out an Entertainment Company for chasing clout with her colleague turned brother and friend, Sisi Quadri’s death.

The entertainment company had claimed that the late actor was awaiting his US Visa approval before his untimely death. According to them, his US Visa was just approved when the news of his sudden demise broke out.

In a follow-up post, the company revealed that they would be posting their upcoming event to mourn the late actor.

Funmi, who was close with the deceased, took to her Instagram page to call them out. She stated that it was unfair as Sisi Quadri never went to the embassy nor was he planning to get a US visa before his death.

Telling them to stop the lies, she noted how his family was mourning yet they were deceiving their gullible followers.

Funmi added that the fact that she is aiming towards building a scandal-free name and has been quiet for a little period doesn’t mean she is a fool.

She noted how Sisi Quadri was her family, brother, colleague, and blood hence why she knows information about him.

The family is mourning. We are mourning and you’re deceiving your gullible followers that you shifted the event cuz of him.

Similarly, Wumi Toriola had sent a message to her colleagues after the news of Sisi Quadri’s death, telling them to respect the dead and not show his family’s vulnerable moments. She told them to be civil, especially during the burial, and not form new breakers on top of their pain.

Wumi revealed that she was in deep pain and could transfer that aggression to anyone to angers her. Expressing love for the deceased, she paid him goodnight.

Kemi Filani reported on Friday, last week that Sisi Quadri’s untimely demise was announced by his colleague Tunde Olayusuf on Instagram.

Reports made rounds that the actor passed away when he was rushed to the hospital in his hometown in Iwo, Osun State, after suffering persistent hiccups which were caused by kidney-related issues.

A viral video of the actor complaining about his health before his untimely death made rounds online, which left many calling for investigation over his death.

Following the news of his demise, his colleagues who had been left shaken by the news took to their respective Instagram pages to mourn him. The likes of Muyiwa Ademola, Folorunsho Adeola, Bukola Adeeyo, Oba K Solo, Mercy Ebosele, Jigan Babaoja, Biola Bayo, Saidi Balogun, Olayinka Solomon, Mr Latin, Fausat Balogun and more paid respect to him.

Funmi Awelewa removed her Instagram profile photo and replaced it with dark blank pics, cleared all images on her social media page to mourn him. In a post, she shared a video of herself and Sisi Quadri reminiscing about their beautiful past.

She expressed unbearable pain on how the demise of Sisi Quadri had affected her a lot.
