The former Special Assistant on Digital Communications to former President Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmad has reacted after the US Dollars crashed in the currency exchange market.
The US dollars crashed against the Naira on Wednesday.
Bashir Ahmad, a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC is one of the most respected and revered politicians in the Northern region of the country.
The recent currency exchange rate has been a contentious issue for many Nigerians across the country lately.
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Bashir Ahmad stated on his verified Twitter page; “1 USD was N1,618 yesterday, and today, it is N1,463.”
He added; “It is clear that we are making progress.”
