BREAKING: ‘I Was Surrounded By Abure’s Thugs And I Was Forced To Sign Many Documents’ – According to Maria Labeke

Maria Labeke, a former acting national head of the Labour Party, claims that Barrister Julius Abure forcefully ejected her from her position as acting chairman under coercion.

She said that Abure took over her role right away and made her sign several agreements before giving her a chance to carefully read them.

She said that while promising to utilize his power to support her in her role as party chairman, Abure had tricked her into agreeing to a meeting of the NEC in Edo state.

She said in an interview with Arise Tv, ”Abure told me the reason why he put the NEC meeting in Edo state is because he has monopoly of thugs there.

That he would gather as many thugs as possible so that they could help me to protect my interest in case anybody objected to my position. So there and then immediately after the meeting, they removed me and pushed me out.

I was intimidated and pushed out of my seat and he came and sat on that seat and from then he brought so many documents. I was surrounded by Abure’s thugs and I was forced to sign many documents which I could not be able to proofread at that moment.”
