Social media influencer Martins Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), voiced his frustration at the House of Representatives on Monday, September 30, following the absence of controversial cross-dresser Bobrisky and the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at a scheduled hearing.
The session was centred around allegations of a N15 million bribe.
VDM had appeared before the lower legislative chamber after being summoned, alongside Bobrisky and the EFCC chairman, to address accusations that Bobrisky had bribed EFCC officials.
According to the influencer, the cross-dresser allegedly paid N15 million to evade a money laundering charge in April.
The claim, made in an audiovisual post shared by VDM, has since garnered significant attention nationwide.
However, at the hearing, only VDM was present, while Bobrisky and the EFCC chairman were notably absent.
This led to an outburst from the social media figure, who declared his refusal to speak until all parties were present.
“If I say anything, let me die,” he remarked, visibly frustrated by the absence of the other key figures.
The lawmakers have yet to reschedule the session, and many are eagerly awaiting further developments on the N15 million bribery allegations.
