BREAKING: If You Allow Too Many Cement Companies To Come In, There Will Be Adulteration Of Cement – According to Kabiru Ibrahim

Nigerian architect Kabiru Ibrahim has refuted the claim that Dangote and Bua are the country’s leading cement distributors, creating a monopoly in the sector.

He highlighted a potential drawback to intense market rivalry by claiming that permitting an excessive number of cement producers could lead to product adulteration.

He emphasized the need for more cement industries while also pointing out the difficulties in obtaining the resources needed for their formation and best practices.

He said in an interview with Arise TV, ”We need more cement industries but what about the resources to put the thing in place? And for them to work optimally.

You see, even in nature and in every businesses, some people will have to cut a niche and they tend to occupy the whole market. And you tend to refer to it as monopoly.

But the monopoly has it own good side too because there is employment and there is the reduction in proliferation of businesses. If you allow too many cement companies to come in, there will be adulteration of cement.”
