BREAKING: Insults are just little prices to pay for Nigeria

A former minister of education in Nigeria, Obiageli Ezekwesili has said that taking a few insults is just a little price to pay for Nigeria to become a country envied by many.
Ezekwesili made this known after her altercation with the lawmaker representing Ebonyi North Senatorial District, Onyekachi Nwaebonyi at the panel instituted by the Senate Committee on Ethics and Privileges over allegations of sexual against Godswill Akpabio by Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
The former minister was reacting to an appreciation post by Akpoti-Uduaghan over the face off between Ezekwesili and Nwaebonyi at the Senate panel on Tuesday, March 25.
Akpoti-Uduaghan had in a post on X said the former minister took all the insults from her Ebonyi colleague for her sake and that of every other woman in Nigeria.
Quoting Akpoti-Uduaghan’s post, Ezekwesili wrote, “Very kind words, dear Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan @NatashaAkpoti ! Yet to me, a torrent of insults from any source is but a little price to pay in our resolve to see a Nigerian that Becomes.
“Our daughters and granddaughters must never inherit battles and wars we should have fought and won for them. An unjust society that silences women and vulnerable people can never Become. We all must refuse that for Nigeria. We STAND ON!” Ezekwesili added.
