In a thrilling conclusion to the UEFA Champions League semi-finals, Inter Milan secured their place in the final by overcoming Barcelona with a tense 7-6 aggregate victory.

The decisive moment came during the second leg at San Siro on Tuesday night, where Inter triumphed with a dramatic 4-3 win.

The match witnessed an exhilarating turn of events, highlighted by Francesco Acerbi’s stoppage-time equalizer that propelled the game into extra time.

The two teams had previously played to a 3-3 draw in the first leg, setting the stage for a gripping second encounter. Barcelona, initially trailing 2-0, mounted a commendable comeback, with Eric Garcia scoring in the 54th minute, followed by Dani Olmo’s equalizer in the 60th minute.

Raphinha then put the visitors ahead 3-2 in the 87th minute, only for Inter’s Acerbi to respond with a crucial goal in stoppage time (90+3), levelling the match once again.

With both legs concluding at 3-3, the tie moved to extra time, where Inter ultimately claimed victory. The Italian side will now face the winner of the second semi-final clash between PSG and Arsenal in the highly anticipated Champions League final.
