BREAKING: Iran Is Like Càncer, You Dèstroyed Every Place You’re Involved In; Lebanon, Syria, Yemen

Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen has issued a scathing critique of Iran’s influence in the Middle East, accusing Tehran of wreaking havoc on regional stability and oppressing its own citizens.

In a statement on his verified Twitter account, Cohen likened Iran to a “cancer” that has systematically destroyed the countries it influences, including Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen.

“You have destroyed every place you are involved in—Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and more,” Cohen wrote, highlighting the widespread devastation he attributes to Iran’s regional activities. He further accused the Islamic Republic of ruining the lives of its own citizens since the 1979 revolution, which saw the establishment of the current regime.

Cohen’s comments come amidst escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, fueled by ongoing disputes over Iran’s nùclear ambitions and its support for armed groups in the region. Israel has long accused Iran of funding and arming Hezbollah in Lebanon, propping up Bashar al-Assad’s regime in Syria, and supporting the Houthi rebels in Yemen, among other activities.

The Israeli Foreign Minister also expressed optimism for change, stating, “Change will come!” This reflects Israel’s stance that internal dissent within Iran, coupled with international pressure, could eventually lead to a transformation of the Iranian regime.

Cohen’s remarks underline Israel’s unwavering opposition to Iran’s policies and its commitment to countering Iranian influence across the Middle East. The statement is likely to resonate with regional allies who share concerns about Tehran’s actions but may also draw ire from Iranian officials.
