President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been informed by Primate Elijah Ayodele, the head of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, that there is severe hunger in the country and that it will impact some African countries.
Primate Elijah Ayodele made this claim in a statement provided by his spokesperson, Oluwatosin Osho, according to the Daily Post.
Recall that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC defeated other strong contenders including Peter Obi of the Labour Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP to clinch the apex political seat in the country. He took over from Muhammadu Buhari on the 29th of May, 2023. His administration so far has attracted commendations and condemnations from different circles.
Primate Elijah Ayodele said; “If Tinubu doesn’t get to work immediately and find a way to solve our economic issues, there will be massive protests. The people are crying already, salary earners are not satisfied and it will get to a state where governors will not be able to pay salaries again”
He added; “Don’t wait till they start stoning you and every politician before working, you need to do something now. There is serious hunger in the land, It will also affect some African nations. The president should do the needful,”
