BREAKING: “I’ve been a victim of godfather’s game plan because when they say bring money, I won’t—LP candidate

The Labour Party governorship aspirant in Edo State, Kenneth Imasuagbon has said he has been a victim of godfather’s game plan in Edo state because the cabals know that when they say bring money for them to share, he will refuse. And because I will refuse to carry Edo people’s money to them to share, I have been a victim of political circumstances. In an interaction with CHANNELS TV anchor on Politics Today on Friday, the politician revealed that for over the past years, he has been wanting to sever Edo people. He said that the governorship nomination form was recently purchased for him by a group called Edo Progressive Union; who came over to Abuja to buy the form for him.

When he was asked to give clarification on the pricing of the form, he said that despite the nomination form being pegged at N30m, it is far better than other big parties like APC and PDP in the country that sell theirs for N55m and N35m respectively. Although, because everyone political party needs money to function. “In Nigeria today, when you venture into politics whether to contest for a governor, president, or senator, it all involves money, the politician noted.” As a lawyer and obedient party man, I have to respectfully obey the decision laid down by the party.

Further speaking, he maintained that hope is coming for Edo people because nobody will say he brought me to power or expect any compensation from me or imprudent use of money meant to serve the people. “I am an independent minded man who is proud to align with the achievements of His Excellency Mr. Peter Obi to serve Edo State and the people he maintained.”
