Hon. Yusuf Shitu Galambi, the member representing Gwaram Federal Constituency of Jigawa State in the House of Representatives, has officially defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Galambi, who was elected under the platform of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in the 2023 general elections, announced his switch to the ruling party during the House plenary on Thursday, February 20, 2025.
The Speaker of the House, Tajudeen Abbas, confirmed the defection, marking another high-profile move from the NNPP to the APC.
