BREAKING: Kanye West Announces Extensive “Vultures” World Tour, Including Nigeria

American hip-hop heavyweight and fashion icon, Kanye Omari West, has unveiled ambitious plans for a global tour in support of his upcoming album, “Vultures”, a collaborative effort with TY Dolla $ign.

The album, comprising three distinct installments, saw its first part released on Friday, February 9. Now, fans can look forward to a series of electrifying live performances spanning multiple countries, including Nigeria.

West, a 24-time Grammy winner, took to his Instagram account on Wednesday, February 7, to announce the tour.

Among the potential tour destinations are Nigeria, Kenya, and Egypt. Notable dates include December 14, 2024, at Eko Energy City in Lagos, Nigeria, and December 7 at Nyayo International Stadium in Nairobi, Kenya.

The tour is scheduled to kick off in Toronto, Canada, on June 22, before traversing the United States until August, when it will head south to Mexico.

Fans worldwide eagerly await the chance to witness West grace the stage in Lagos, Nigeria, for the second time, following his memorable 2007 Mega Star Jam appearance—an event that ignited excitement in the heart of the Afrobeats capital.

West’s connection to Nigerian music goes beyond live performances. His signing of Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo, also known as D’Banj, to his GOOD Music label in 2011, and his praise for Wizkid’s hit track “Essence” in 2021 highlights his deep appreciation for Nigerian musical talent.
