BREAKING: Kogi Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo Appoints Cabinet Members on First Day in Office

On his first day in office, Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has swiftly appointed cabinet members and key aides, signaling his commitment to governance.

In his inaugural speech, the Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo clearly announced the nomination of several commissioners, whose names will be forwarded to the State Assembly for prompt confirmation into the State Executive Council (SEC).

According to reports by The Nation, Governor Ododo, who was sworn in as the 5th elected Governor of Kogi State on Saturday afternoon, wasted no time in setting up his administration.

Notably, many of the commissioner-nominees hailed from the immediate past administration of Governor Yahaya Bello.

Among the notable appointments are Folashade Ayoade Arike, Kingsley Fanwo, and Deedat Salami Ozigi, the former Secretary to the State Government (SSG), along with several assistants.

Furthermore, their appointments take immediate effect, reflecting Governor Ododo’s commitment to ensuring continuity and efficiency in governance.
