[BREAKING] Kwara Killings: Bandits Warned Woro Village Before Attack, Says Village Head

The head of Woro Village in Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State, Umar Salih, has revealed that bandits sent a letter to his community about a month before the deadly attack that claimed lives, including his children.

In an interview with News Central TV, Salih said he received the notification on January 10 through the Hakimi of a nearby village located about four kilometres away.

“I received the notification on the 10th of January, around 7:45. When the man came, the man was Hakimi of a small village about four kilometres from my community. According to him, they abducted him and forced him to bring the letter or else they would kill him. And that is why he brought the letter to me.”

He explained that he immediately reported the matter to security authorities after receiving the letter.

“When the letter got to me, immediately I went to the DSS in our local government headquarters. The following day, I took the letter to the Emirate Council, and the Emir Council studied the letter and sent it to the various appropriate quarters. That is what happened with regards to the notification.”

According to Salih, the letter did not specify any date or time, but only claimed the attackers were coming to preach.

“The words they wrote in the letter were that they were coming down to preach. That is the content of the letter, but there was no date, no time.”

“They just said they were coming to preach, and that is just it.”

He added that soldiers were initially stationed in the area, but were later withdrawn after an earlier confrontation with the bandits.

“Initially, we had soldiers that were staying there. The bandits came over the night, and there was an exchange between the army and the bandits.”

Salih said the community was left without a security presence, which created room for the attackers to strike and operate for hours.

“Since then, they took away the soldiers, and that place remained open. There was no security present, and that is why they came and spent almost 10 hours to do whatever they liked.”

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu recently reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to defeating terrorism across the country.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Tinubu described the attack on Worro community as disturbing and promised that those behind it would face justice.

The President vowed that those responsible would be “pursued and brought to justice, just like other terrorists before them. They will not go scot-free.” See More Here

Favor As Higher Power?

(The hidden truth)

Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
