Shehu Sani, a PDP leader and former congressman from Kaduna, claimed that the woman who promised to lift 50 million Nigerians out of poverty in 40 months had been expelled from the organization. Senator Shehu Sani posted the comment on his X profile, formerly known as Twitter, in response to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu suspending Dr. Betta Edu, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
Remember how the President suspended Betta Edu? She was accused of transferring public funds into a private account. Senator Shehu Sani claimed that although she was kicked out of the group, she had promised to help many Nigerians escape poverty.
Shehu Sani posted on his page, saying, “The Lady who wants to lift 50 million Nigerians out of poverty in 40 months has been removed from the group”.
