Former Ekiti State governor Mr. Peter Ayodele Fayose criticised the former President Muhammadu Buhari’s government on Sunday during an interview on Channels Television. He maintained that Nigerians did not benefit from Muhammadu Buhari’s presidency.
In response to the assertion that Nigerians have been experiencing severe financial difficulty due to the sharp increase in the cost of food and other necessities over the last several months, Peter Ayodele made this statement.
While he was talking, he said, “It is easy to criticize but every nation has its own peculiarity. In Argentina is there Boko Haram ? In Argentina how many languages do they have ? But today, you still see Nigerians fighting that they are Igbos, they are Fulanis, they are Yorubas, they are Hausas. There is a lot to contend with for the Nigerian president.”
Further talking, he said, “Even if the Lord Jesus Christ or Muhammad wants to be president of Nigeria they would say the same thing. Let us talk about reality here, this is nine months. When President Muhammadu Buhari was here they were no Ministers for five months.
