The Labour Party has swept Anambra State presidential election with 584,621 votes to beat the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) that came second with 9036 votes.
The All Progressive Congress came third with 5111 votes. The All progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) scored 7388 votes to pick fourth position
The Anambra State Returning officer for the presidential election, Professor Nnenna Otti, Vice Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo State, said that Anambra State has 21 LGAs and has a total of 2536156 registered voters and 628590 votes.
According to her 613,861 was the total valid votes while 10751 was the total number of rejected votes. The total number of the valid votes cast was 624,612
