Ruben Amorim has had an indifferent start to life at Manchester United since replacing Erik Ten Hag last month.

The Portuguese coach has coached six matches, recording three wins, two defeats and a draw.

Some have questioned his decision to change his teams, and one player has reportedly complained about his strategy.

Amorim sat in the Man United dugout for the first time on November 24 against Ipswich in the Premier League. They had to settle for a frustrating draw against the promoted team.

He has made many changes to the squad in the following games. According to Manchester Evening News, the former Sporting CP boss has made more than 20 changes to the team since he took charge.

The report adds that Amorim has made 25 substitutions out of 25 and started 21 different players before their Europa League clash against Viktoria Plzen. Players have welcomed his style since everyone gets some game time.

“It’s not because I like to change all the time but we have to have all the squad fit,” Amorim said.

According to Metro Sports, one player has complained privately about Amorim’s frequent tinkering. One player who has struggled to break into the team is Christian Eriksen, who is expected to leave the club soon.
