Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim has confirmed that the trio of Harry Maguire, Leny Yoro, and Mason Mount will be back in action for the club against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday.

The Red Devils will take on an in-form Nottingham Forest side at the City Ground on Tuesday, three days after they booked a place in the FA Cup semi-final.

On Friday, the club announced on their website that the likes of Harry Maguire, Leny Yoro, Luke Shaw, Altay Bayindir and Tom Heaton all participated in training after missing out on action for a few weeks.

Luke Shaw has been injured since December, while Harry Maguire was sidelined in early March.

Yoro has only missed the last two matches, convincing victories over both Real Sociedad, in the Europa League, and Leicester City in the Premier League.

However, Amorim has confirmed that the trio of Harry Maguire, Leny Yoro, and Mason Mount are expected to feature on Tuesday while providing further updates on Kobbie Mainoo, Lisandro Martinez.

Amorim said: “Luke [Shaw] is not ready yet. We are starting to do some drills with the team but we are building Luke.

“Mason Mount is feeling better but he was on the bench in the last game, Kobbie [Mainoo] is almost ready, Jonny [Evans] is recovering, [Lisandro Martínez] is out. [Harry] Maguire is also ready to go to the game and [Leny] Yoro, yes.

“Ayden Heaven’s injury was not so serious. He is recovering, [he is] not ready to play, but he will return this season for sure.”

Mason Mount returned to the squad at the King Power Stadium before the international break as an unused substitute, and he could be in line for a first appearance since December.

The Portuguese manager believes the energy is different as they approach the business end of the season.

He said: “I feel the players are more confident and the energy is different. But I also know that can change with results. Even winning the games, we can acknowledge we have a lot to improve and are ready for the final two months of the season.

“It is really exciting but really tough matches. Different characteristics give us different opportunities to win matches.”

Amorim also described Marcus Rashford’s form for Aston Villa as good news for Manchester United.

He said: “We have a lot of games to play and I am focused on my team and my players and Rashford is not my player at the moment. But every player that performs well on loan is good news for my club so we are happy with that.”

Manchester United have not won back-to-back Premier League games at any point this season.

Amorim’s side and strugglers Southampton and Ipswich are the only teams to not win successive matches.
