BREAKING: Many Injured In Lagos Car Crash

A late-night auto crash on the Lagos-Badagry Expressway left seven people injured after a commercial bus collided head-on with a Toyota Camry at Sawmill Bus Stop, Ibereko.

The accident, which occurred at approximately 11:10 p.m. on Friday, involved a V-Waggon commercial bus (registration number: AGL 867 YA) attempting a U-turn when it lost control and crashed into an oncoming Toyota Camry (registration number: KRD 232 HD) from Mile 2.

Confirming the incident, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Unit Commander, Mr. William Manga, stated that emergency personnel arrived at the scene within seven minutes of being alerted.

A total of 24 individuals were involved in the accident, with four men and three women sustaining injuries of varying severity.

The injured victims were swiftly transported to Care General Hospital, Badagry, for medical treatment.

Authorities have attributed the accident to reckless driving.

Both vehicles have been moved to Mowo Police Station for further investigation.

Manga urged drivers to exercise caution, avoid excessive speeding, and adhere to traffic regulations to prevent future road mishaps.
