Ezekiel Onyedikachi aka Eezeetee, the CEO of Eezee Conceptz and the ex-manager of Mercy Chinwo has reacted to claims that he threatened to destroy the gospel singer.
Recall that the singer who issued a statement through her lawyer days ago saying that she never complained about the unfairness of the 50/50 revenue split from her DSP earnings, and she never filed a lawsuit against her former manager over her music repertoire.
According to the statement, trouble started between the pair when Ezekiel began pressuring Mercy Chinwo to increase her five-year contract to twelve years.
Following her refusal to extend her contract, Ezekiel allegedly turned confrontational, mentioning the contract and using derogatory language against the gospel singer.
The statement also revealed that Ezekiel threatened to destroy the singer and also falsified a new contract in 2019 by changing the date to make it appear to be one signed from the year 2017.
However, Eezeetee has denied the allegation in a video shared on his Instagram page on January 29, 2024, in which he accused the popular singer of maliciously manipulating the system, obtaining a bench warrant against him and publishing it globally.
He said; “Even in the face of injustice, I chose silence.
’’When you involved the EFCC to detain me, I remained silent.
’’When I sought resolution through the Multidoor Court, I remained silent. Even when I filed a lawsuit to protect my human rights and prevent further harassment, I still chose silence.
’’But then, you maliciously manipulated the system, obtained a bench warrant against me, and published it globally.
’’This is not just about me—it’s about transparency, fairness, and standing up against unjust actions.
’’Sometimes, silence is mistaken for weakness, but let me assure you, truth always prevails. Facts are stubborn.”
