The governor of Jigawa, Umar Namadi has lost his mother.
It was gathered that Hajia Maryam Namadi died in the early hours of Wednesday, December 25, 2024.
A statement by the governor’s chief press secretary, Mohammed Gumel said Madam Namadi would be buried according to Islamic rites on the same day at 4.30 pm.
He said the governor’s late mother would be laid to rest in her hometown in Kafin Hausa area of the state.
He also added that the governor has pleaded with friends and associates to pray for the repose of his mother‘s soul.
