BREAKING: NAPTIP Hails Air Peace for ‘Patriotic Contribution’ In Evacuating 78 Trafficked Nigerian Women from Côte d’Ivoire

The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has thanked Air Peace for its “exceptional support and patriotic contribution” in the rescue and repatriation of seventy-eight Nigerian victims of human trafficking from Côte d’Ivoire on Saturday, 10th May.
In a letter signed by Director General Binta L. Adamu Bello, OON, NAPTIP acknowledged that “at a time when logistics and coordination posed considerable challenges, Air Peace rose to the occasion and provided much-needed support, demonstrating once again your unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes and national development.”
The letter read “Your swift intervention and generous assistance were instrumental in the success of this critical operation. The rescued victims, many of whom endured unimaginable hardship, now have a renewed chance at rebuilding their lives. Your actions reflect a deep sense of responsibility, compassion, and solidarity with vulnerable Nigerians, especially those subjected to the horrors of trafficking.”
The agency expressed hope for continued collaboration with Air Peace in future operations to combat human trafficking, saying, “NAPTIP deeply values this collaboration and hopes to continue building on this partnership in the shared fight against human trafficking. Your exemplary gesture has not only saved lives but has also inspired renewed hope in our collective mission to protect and uphold the dignity of every Nigerian.”
