Popular Nollywood actor, Rotimi Salami, has been hospitalised following a serious health scare.
Naija News reports that the actor disclosed this on Monday in a post shared on his Instagram page.
Salami shared a photo of himself lying on a hospital bed, revealing that he narrowly escaped death within the last 48 hours.
While expressing gratitude to God for sparing his life, the actor said the past two days had been extremely difficult for him.
“I survived the last 48 hours because God said yes,” he wrote.
The actor also linked his health condition to the stress from working on Kilanko, a newly released cinema movie dedicated to the late actress, Allwell Ademola.
According to him, the project took a heavy toll on his body.
“I’m not the type to say ‘Devil is a liar’ because I’ve truly stressed this body. Kilanko has taken too much from me,” he added.
In other news, Veteran actor, Patrick Doyle has announced the death of his newborn daughter, Omayinuwa Harriet, just a day after her birth.
Naija News reports that the actor said the baby was delivered on Friday and had earlier shared news that both his wife, Funmilayo, and the child were doing well.
However, he later confirmed that the situation changed and the baby passed away on Saturday evening around 4:15 p.m.
Doyle explained that the child’s short stay brought happiness to the family despite the painful outcome.
