“Preach your gospel and leave Mohbad’s name out of your ministration” – Tonto Dikeh replies Pastor Tunde Bakare
A prominent figure in Nollywood, Tonto Dikeh, who is also involved in politics, has delivered a scathing critique of Pastor Tunde Bakare’s response to the passing of the Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, known as Mohbad.
In a sermon delivered in Leicester, United Kingdom, on Sunday, September 24, 2023, Pastor Bakare suggested that the late singer’s demise may have been a consequence of his actions during his lifetime.
He pointed out that when Mohbad was engaged in drinking, smoking, and associating with individuals of questionable character, he likely did not foresee the ‘harvest’ of consequences arriving so swiftly.
Taking to her Instagram page, Tonto Dikeh advised the pastor to keep the same energy with his corrupted colleagues, who had been accused of all sorts.
According to her, he has never criticized his colleagues so it was wrong of him to make such comments about the young man who passed away tragically.
She wrote,
“Dear pastor Tunde, @thetbakareiknow
When your colleagues are caught with their pants down in unholy sexual activities.
We never hear your voice, you never speak nor preach about them..
It comes to the death of a boy who is old enough to be your last born and you say “HE REAPED THE REWARD OF HIS ACTIONS.
What Actions?
Please please please KEEP THE SAME ENERGY with your corrupted Colleagues as you just did today.
It’s the anointing of God upon your head that’s making me not go off on this LOSSE COMMENT OF YOURS.
I have learnt over the years that if you have nothing nice to say, Keep mute (DONT TALK AT ALL)
