BREAKING: Nigerian responds after seeing what was written under Awoniyi’s shirt after scoring against West Ham

Nigerians and social media users were captivated by what was written beneath Nigerian Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi’s shirt after he scored Nottingham Forest’s first goal against West Ham United in the Premier League at the City Ground on Saturday night.

The Nigerian Super Eagles’ attacker, who sustained an injury and was unable to compete in the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, opened Nottingham Forest’s goal in stoppage time of their Premier League encounter against West Ham.

After scoring, Taiwo Awoniyi took off his Nottingham Forest shirt, revealing what was written on his inner wear, which was partly written in Yoruba language.

On his inner wear was written: “Kilen F’Olorunpe’ which is translated as ‘Who do you take God for’

Seeing what was written under Taiwo Awoniyi’s shirt after scoring against West Ham United has attracted reactions from Nigerians and social media users, as some have said he should open Nottingham Forest Christian Assembly, while some have called him a great son of the most high.
