Na’ballo, a notorious bandit leader and ally of Ado Aleiro, has been killed during a violent clash, according to Zagazola Media.
A high-profile criminal with a history of terrorising communities, Na’ballo was reportedly based in eastern Takulawa, within the Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara, where he coordinated various criminal activities.
Quoting an intelligence sources, the media outfit said Na’ballo met his demise during an internal conflict among rival bandit factions in the area.
In a separate incident on Monday, suspected Fulani bandits launched an attack on a motorist travelling between Kucheri and Magazu villages.
Fortunately, the motorist narrowly escaped and alerted the military.
Acting on this intelligence, troops responded swiftly, neutralising the bandits in a coordinated operation that resulted in the deaths of all eight attackers.
No civilians were harmed during the military intervention.
