In a video that Channels released, Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s nominee for president in the previous election, stated that people are saying they received over $150 million but haven’t even seen 1% of the money. At a conference in Abuja, he made this declaration after providing a report of the campaign funds’ expenditures along with his staff.
Peter Obi said, “We are actually going to go to the various people who supported us in diaspora to say thank you and tell them what was realized, and we are also going to put information out there that who ever knows where funds are supposed to have been remitted to help us trace and get that. But know that people are claiming we received about $150 million, and I state here that we haven’t seen 1%, and I stand for anybody to dispute and approve that.”
