BREAKING: Police sensitize residents on safety in Kaduna

The Kaduna State Police Command has intensified efforts to enhance security across the state by deploying strategic nipping points in key locations.

This proactive measure, aimed at deterring criminal activities and ensuring rapid response to security challenges, is part of the command’s commitment to safeguarding lives and property.

In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Mansir Hassan, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, CP Rabiu Muhammad, on Saturday the residents were urged to cooperate with officers stationed at these points and report any suspicious activities immediately.

The statement emphasized that the police have increased presence in strategic areas, created additional nipping points, and intensified patrols across vulnerable locations to enhance public safety and promote economic growth.

To further protect lives and property, the police issued key safety tips for residents.

Mansur further advised residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious movements to the nearest police station and avoid unnecessary travel at night, especially in isolated areas.

Other tips include locking all doors and windows properly and install security lights where possible. They are also urged not to share personal information or allow unknown individuals into your home or business premises.

The Kaduna Police Command reassured residents of its unwavering commitment to maintaining peace and order in the state. It also called for continued collaboration between security agencies and the public to ensure a safer environment for all.
